New 2022 Dacia Duster design

The front of the refreshed Duster gets new headlights, Y-shaped daytime running lights and a chromed radiator grille.

LED indicators (a first for Dacia) and LED dipped beams are now standard, while a redesigned rear spoiler and new 16- and 17-inch ally wheels should help the Duster cut through the air more easily and use less fuel as a result.

The new Dacia Duster’s interior has had a more comprehensive makeover. The seats are covered in a new type of upholstery, the headrests are slimmer and there is a new centre console with a retractable armrest and some USB ports for keeping various gizmos charged.

There’s also a new eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Four-wheel drive versions get a few extra off-road-focussed features such as a compass (handy if your phone’s sat-nav app is playing up.) Higher spec models also get a digital climate control display, heated front seats and keyless entry.

If you plan to head off-road, you’ll want to consider the 115hp diesel engine because it’s is available with four-wheel drive and is equipped with adaptive hill descent control.
