Audi Q8 vs Range Rover Sport video

Coupe-like SUVs are hot property right now, and the Audi Q8 is one of the hottest, but how does it compare to sporty SUV royalty, also known as – the Range Rover Sport?
Well, you’ll have to watch the video to find out but, safe to say, the Audi Q8 has a job on its hands.
Why? Well, because the Range Rover Sport has the kind off-roading cache that EVERY other SUV would kill for and clever tech that makes tackling seriously tough terrain easy even if you’re a virgin to the rough stuff.
It performs well on road, too. The commanding driving position makes you feel like the king of the road. And if the sheer size of the thing doesn’t leave you feeling like royalty, then the Sport’s plush interior certainly will do – it’s crammed full of expensive materials, has luxurious levels of space and a myriad of colourful infotainment screens. Surely, you’d be mad to bet against it?
Perhaps not if you’re driving an Audi Q8. Very much the new kid on the block, it’s as big and as bold as the Range Rover and the fact that its boxfresh shape is an uncommon sight on the road has got to count for something if you’re a style-conscious sporty SUV buyer.
Like pretty much every Audi on sale today, the Q8 has an interior to die for with hewn-from-granite build quality and infotainment systems that make a spaceship’s flight deck look unsophisticated. It’s modern design also means it could be even more practical than the Range Rover, though you’ll have to wait and see about that.
What it won’t be is more capable off-road, but given that it shares its underpinnings with the surprisingly agile Bentley Bentayga, the Audi Q8 might just be able to pip the Sport on Tarmac.
