The limited edition DS3 Dark Light has been revealed. It gets a number of styling upgrades including LED headlights and a vinyl wrap
Citroen has announced a limited edition of the DS3 has been announced. The DS3 Dark Light features a unique vinyl wrap on its body among other extras. It takes its inspiration from a popular DS3 that was displayed at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. Only 300 models are being delivered to dealers so exclusivity is guaranteed.
Other changes include 17-inch alloy wheels that compliment the vinyl wrapping, unique special edition badges and chromed door mirrors. The DS3’s upgraded signature LED headlights are all part of the package.
The interior’s gained some nice touches too, with leather sports seats and aluminium pedals, along with Dark Light badges. Being a special edition, the car benefits from automatic headlights and wipers and an auto-dimming rear view mirror, too.
A 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 110hp and returns good economy thanks to the stop-start system. A six-speed automatic gearbox is standard meaning the changes are as smooth as can be.
This special edition will be priced from £20,795 and is available to order now. It’s a significant price increase over the standard car but, if you want to stand out, this is certainly a great choice. You’ll have to be quick though – only 300 will be sold.
