The interior of the Peugeot 3008 oozes style and character, with build quality just as good, but the infotainment system is average at best
Style
The interior of the Peugeot 3008 is one of the most stylish of any SUV, and fortunately, the quality matches the looks too. In front of the driver is a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display as standard, with all but entry-level Active models featuring a 10-inch central infotainment screen for no extra cost. An 8-inch screen is the standard offering.
Controls are positioned towards you, with tactile switches to control the infotainment system and a raised centre console creating a plane cockpit-like impression in the car. It’s very spacious behind the wheel though, with plenty of adjustment in the seat as well.
That said, the squared-off steering wheel might be an issue for some. It’s worth taking the Peugeot 3008 for a test drive before setting your heart on one, as you may find the wheel completely blocks the digital driver’s display.
There’s plenty of choice to make your 3008 a little more you as well, including the option of red Nappa leather or black Alcantara-trimmed seats, with top-spec GT models also coming with lime-wood inserts.

Infotainment
One of the highlights of the latest update to the Peugeot 3008 is the introduction of a new infotainment system. Though entry-level Active cars feature an old (and outdated) 8-inch screen, the rest of the range gets an improved 10-inch screen.
The Peugeot 3008’s new system is no doubt an improvement. The screen is more vivid and sharper than the smaller unit, and a little more responsive too. That said, it’s still a pretty average system and you’re better off connecting your phone via USB to use the (thankfully) included Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
