Skoda Fabia interior
Skoda doesn’t make the most exciting cabins, but the Fabia’s is smart enough. It lacks quality materials though.
Style
Although Skodas aren’t the most stylish models around, the Fabia has a little more flair than usual. In the higher trim levels – especially on Colour Edition models – you get a splash of colour across the dashboard and on the seat upholstery to contrast the mostly black and grey cabin.
Although it won’t light a fire inside you, the cabin is laid out very well. All the controls are easy to use, and thank goodness Skoda hasn’t put all the controls through the screen. It has kept the normal control panel for the air conditioning, and there are no touch-sensitive buttons anywhere.

Infotainment
Entry-level S models receive a tiny six-inch touchscreen, which is best worth avoiding. But you can also get an 8.0-inch touchscreen or a 9.2-inch unit, which you get in the top-level SE L. It’s not the smoothest system in the world, so it’s useful that you can connect your phone – either wirelessly through Apple CarPlay or wired Android Auto.
As an optional extra or as standard in the bright Colour Edition, you get a 10.25-inch driver information display, which comes with a handful of display options. Weirdly, you don’t get it in the top-spec SE L as standard.
