Suzuki Vitara interior
The Suzuki Vitara’s interior is solidly screwed together, but its infotainment system and interior quality aren’t at the same level as alternative efforts.
Style
It’s fair to say that the Vitara’s interior doesn’t feel quite as classy as you might hope. Some of the plastics used feel a bit on the flimsy side, with scratchy surfaces, although the switches and buttons do operate with a consistent and smooth weight.
There are numerous bits of colour throughout the cabin in a bid to lift the ambience but nevertheless the overall effect is a bit humdrum. Still, a double panoramic sunroof on SZ5 models helps to lift things.
Fabric seats are standard on entry models, while mid-spec SZ-T trim gets contrasting stitching and top end SZ5 models have suede trim.

Infotainment
The infotainment system feels aftermarket at best, and at least a generation behind those in some rivals. However, it is at least fairly simple to use, and better still, you can mirror your smartphone using the standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, which improves things considerably.
DAB radio is standard on all models, while the bottom SZ4 trim is fitted with a CD player (remember those?).
The middle and top trims have sat-nav, although you’ll most likely end up using your smartphone link for this.
