Skoda Superb interior
The Skoda Superb is well built inside and features enough soft-touch materials and interesting trims to feel premium too. A VW Passat does feel slightly plusher still, though.
Style
If you were to rank Volkswagen and Skoda for desirability, most would put VW first. However, the Skoda Superb’s cabin is extremely close to a Passat’s when it comes to look and feel. Close enough, in fact, that most people wouldn’t really notice the difference.
Look hard enough and you’ll find the lower half of the Skoda Superb’s cabin does have more scratchy plastics, but everything inside feels robust and there are enough gloss black and chrome accents to lift the ambience.
SE cars come with cloth seats as standard, but SEL and L&K trims upgrade those to leather. Sportline Plus models see those replaced with a quilted Alcantara set for a racier edge, which is taken a step further with a sports steering wheel.
Agoraphobics should steer clear of the Superb's interior

Infotainment
Out of the box, the Skoda Superb gets an 8-inch version with DAB radio and Bluetooth as standard, and you won’t feel short-changed by sticking with it. This base system is responsive, easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. For a little extra convenience though, upgrading to the 9-inch system (included as standard on Sportline Plus and L&K trims) does introduce wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is worth the cost.
Handy shortcut menus placed either side of the base system makes it very easy to navigate on the go, rather than relying exclusively on touchscreen input, though the larger screen only features a single row of these buttons. Voice control features too but can be a little finicky to work with.
Skoda’s Virtual Cockpit digital dials are an option on all trims but L&K and are a worthwhile addition. They’re bright, easy to understand and easily customisable while lifting the overall look and feel of the cabin at the same time. If you love your music, there’s the option to upgrade the Superb’s standard stereo to a 610w 12-speaker Canton system.
