Vauxhall Grandland interior
The Vauxhall Grandland doesn’t have the most exciting cabin around, but it’s well equipped and the materials used are of a good standard.
Style
The Grandland won’t be winning any design awards, but it’s impressively functional and for most, that’s all that matters.
Material quality is mostly good, with black soft-touch plastics and cloth used throughout to make the Grandland’s interior a nice environment, even from the entry-level model. Leather and alcantara are used on the middle and high-end versions respectively for a bit of additional class.
All of the main controls are easy to reach while you’re driving. You still get the shortcut buttons for the infotainment, the volume dial and proper air conditioning controls, which you will likely find easier to use than the touchscreen-based climate controls you’d find in alternatives such as the Peugeot 3008.

Infotainment
You get either two seven-inch screens at the Design level, then a 10-inch screen teamed with a 12-inch one on the mid- and top-spec cars. Having only tried the top-end, it’s easy enough to use.
The graphics are clear and the system is fast enough, although on our test the navigation put us half a mile away from where we actually were, so just make sure you have a backup option. More likely than not though, you will use your Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, which comes as standard.
