An updated version of the Ford Focus is now on sale, gaining a refreshed look and an upgraded infotainment system.
This key alternative to the Volkswagen Golf can be yours from £22,465, and there’s an updated version of the Focus ST available too.
2022 Ford Focus facelift design
You’ll notice the new Ford Focus gets quite a noticeable new front end. Similar to the recently-revealed Fiesta update, the badge now sits in the middle of a huge grille.
New ‘Dynamic Pixel’ LED headlights make an appearance as well, which use a camera to adjust the angle of the light to give you more visibility on twisty roads.
The rear of the Focus gets redesigned rear lights as well, with dark-tinted surrounds available.
2022 Ford Focus facelift interior and infotainment
Sitting smack in the middle of the dashboard of the new Ford Focus is a huge 13.2-inch infotainment system.
This has brand-new software as well, with climate control functions now digital, along with wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
There’s not much else changed inside the Focus, though the estate version does get some new trimmings to improve the usability of its space.
2022 Ford Focus facelift engines
You’ve got a range of 1.0-litre petrol engines to pick from for the Ford Focus, along with a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
You can now have a new seven-speed automatic gearbox with mild-hybrid petrol engines.
2022 Ford Focus ST facelift
There’s a new version of the Ford Focus ST too, getting the same tweaks as the rest of the range but with even more upgrades.
Along with new seats, there’s also a fresh set of 18-inch alloy wheels as standard. You can upgrade these to 19-inch units, too.
Performance remains the same from the 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine though, with 280hp and 420Nm of torque on tap.
