They come with the same basic equipment as SE cars (including dual-zone climate control, cruise control, rear parking sensors and lumbar support) but add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring on a larger eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Also standard are heated front seats, sat nav, an upgraded eight-speaker stereo and a wireless charging pad for your phone. You’ll have to pick a top-spec Premium SE model if you want leather seats, however.

£25,268Top-spec Premium SE cars are expensive but they come with plenty of equipment. You get the same eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple and Android smartphone mirroring as Premium cars alongside partial leather seats, front and rear parking sensors, automatic windscreen wipers, a memory function for the driver’s seat and some aluminium trims on the pedals and doors. Also carried over from Premium models are cruise control, adjustable lumbar support for the driver, heated front seats, sat nav and dual-zone climate control.
