Mercedes A-Class Prices and Specifications

There are some welcome extra features on Sport over the basic SE, including larger alloy wheels and LED headlights. The trim in the cabin has a carbon fibre look, while the steering wheel has extra chrome trim and dual-zone climate control replaces the simpler air-conditioning. All that is on top of two 7.0-inch digital displays, cruise control, DAB radio and lots of safety systems.

The Sport Executive Edition trim is a bit fancier than the standard Sport spec, thanks to standard-fit extras like 18-inch alloy wheels and beige faux leather upholstery. This version of the Mercedes A-Class also gets a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

In comparison with the standard Sport trims, the AMG Line Executive Edition gives the Mercedes A-Class a slightly sportier look. There’s a slightly more aggressive bodykit, for instance, and this spec also gets an AMG-designed set of 18-inch alloy wheels.

The AMG Line Premium Edition is a modest upgrade over the AMG Line Executive Edition trim, with many of that car’s features being carried over onto this spec. However, the Premium Edition grade does come as standard with keyless entry and a large 10.25-inch digital instrument display.

Sitting at the top of the Mercedes A-Class pecking order is the AMG Line Premium Edition Plus trim level. Highlights this spec comes with over less expensive versions include adaptive headlights and a panoramic glass sunroof that can automatically close if it detects rain falling.
